Oriole Park at Camden Yards BBQ and more

Clemens may have ended his 200-game at-least-one-strikeout streak, but maybe we should be scoring some runs. Can't blame the pitcher when not one person crosses home plate. Hopefully the Yankees can get it together tonight, and leave Baltimore without being swept. Game 3 of this series is tonight at 7:05. While we're in Baltimore, though, let's talk about their ballpark's food. Here is Scoreboard Gourmet's first Guest Post. Thanks to TV's Rod Brogan for interrupting his audtion schedule to write in! I went down to Camden Yards to see the O's play the Bosox in April, and the BBQ down in Bawlmor is terrific! The pulled pork sandwich is the one I recommend. Baltimore is basically a Southern town, and the South is known for it's pigs, among other things. The smoked pork shoulders at Camden are succulent and almost melt in your mouth. They must have fallen off the bone. Being served, it looks more shredded than pulled, but that's a quibble. Great sauce, not the bland paste you get at other fast food or large event concessions. The turkey sandwich was a bit dry for my taste. Camden also serves some good cotton candy for your sweet tooth. Your fingers aren't coated in sugar crystals for 3 hours when you're done! Anyone have a price list?
