like how I use that full name? want to know why the ballpark has that long name? Eli Jacobs, who owned the team when the ballpark was built, wanted to call it Oriole Park. Former Baltimore mayor William Donald Schaefer wanted to call it Camden Yards. And guess what happened next? They were stubborn so now it's Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Genius, and so easy to say. I imagine Jacobs got to have his name first because of the possible apostrophe complications. I called Oriole Park at Camden Yards and someone told me that a pork sandwich costs $7.25 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. If you get the sandwich as a platter (that means with a side of beans and a side of slaw), it's $8. Soda are $3 and $5 for a souvenir cup from Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Jacobs (no apostrophe) apparently rule baseball.
