I realize I should put up some more details about the Pepsi 400, which used to be called the Firecracker 400, such a better name, and not just because I hate Pepsi. Anyway, as previously mentioned, the Pepsi 400 is 8pm Saturday, July 7th. Events start Thursday, July 5th.
Here are the Hospitality Options I was too lazy to type out the other day:
on Saturday, $169 gets you buffet dinner in the Green Flag Club or the Superstretch Terrace Club, unlimited soda and water, 4 tickets for beer or wine, a souvenir program and gift, access to a NASCAR celebrity question and answer session, and admission to Daytona USA (a museum) and the Nextel Fanzone (a pre-race thing). You must have a race ticket to get into these Clubs.
on Friday, for the Winn-Dixie 250, $89 gets you buffet dinner in the Party Zone, unlimited soda and water, 4 tickets for beer or wine, a souvenir program and gift, and access to a NASCAR celebrity question and answer session. Again, you must have a race ticket.
These Clubs are in climate-controlled tents (hopefully not blasting AC into the outside air) and will be open from 4pm until the waving of the green flag.
one more thing: you can get into that Nextel Fanzone pre-race thing for $60 which will give you access to the Budweiser Bistro (and live music and watching the drivers and their teams prepare)
p.s. Dear Daytona People, if you would just answer your phone I could ask for permission to use that radical photo. please let me know if you'd like me to take it down.
