Big League Celebration: Champagne and Big Macs

Remember when the Yankees were winning? When they weren't, oh, more than 10 games out. Don't make me say it, the actual number. Anyway, back when there was a W or two every week, a young pitcher named Tyler Clippard (do you think MLB got that picture from his little league card?) beat the Mets. And while I was in a restaurant with my grandmother having linguine with white clam sauce, Tyler celebrated his first major league win with champagne and Big Macs, in a hotel room, with his parents. "McDonald's and champagne," is how he was quoted. fantastic in every way.
