15,039,360-feet of hot dogs to be consumed at MLB parks in 2007

The National Hot Dog & Sausage Council (scientific researchers for hot dog and sausage manufacturers) says nearly 30-million hot dogs will be consumed at Major League ballparks this year, enough to round the bases 41,776 times (isn’t that a great stat?). And where will the most hot dog eating take place? Shea Stadium. Mets fans, it’s predicted, will eat 1.5-million. Red Sox fans follow with a predicted 1.4million.
