Jed Lowrie at today's Portland Sea Dogs Monthly Luncheon

Today is the Portland Sea Dogs (double-A red sox) Monthly Luncheon. 12-1pm, sponsored by the Portland Press Herald/ Maine Sunday Telegram. Listen to a speaker from the baseball industry - today is shortshop Jed Lowrie - and eat some lunch in the picnic area at Hadlock Field. Tickets are $8.00, payble at the door. Lowrie currently has a 34 game on base streak, it is the third longest streak in Sea Dogs history behind Kevin Youkilis and Kevin Millar. Basbeall America ranks him the #16 prospect in the Red Sox organization.
