That experience - RBF in Myrtle Beach- was a good jumping off point, a preparation for a very exciting promotion in Stockton, CA: Root Beer Float Night. Tomorrow, Sunday July 1st, when the Stockton Ports (Advanced-A A's) take on the Modesto Nuts (Advanced-A Rockies) at 6:05pm, you can buy a Bottomless cup for Root Beer Floats. Ports players and local Celebrities (?) will be scooping the ice cream. I'm guessing that that's Not how the Ports got to first place in the California League North, but what do I know.
