25-cent hot dogs in Coney (Bklyn Cyclones) today

The Cyclones (Mets) play the Hudson Valley Renegades (Devil Rays) today at 5pm. From 3:30pm (when the gates open) until the first pitch, hot dogs will be sold for 25-cents. That was their price in 1957, the last year the Dodgers played in Brooklyn. The Cyclones like to connect themselves to Ebbets Field more than Shea. Also this afternoon, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe impersonators will be scattered throughout the park. The weather is awesome; great day for a game by the beach, even when the hot dogs go back to their usual $3.50.
