Opening Day in Boston - what's new?

When Shannon Yates created the Shan-Shan roll for his Fort Myers restaurant Cru, he had no idea it would make it to the majors (this, by the way, is conjecture; I am still waiting to speak to him). Debuting at City of Palms Park - home of Red Sox spring training (and where their rookie league plays) - these spring rolls were such a hit they made the regular season roster and will be available at Fenway as of today. And one day you just may see them at other Aramark parks. (this whole graf is true, as is the next one). Shan-Shan rolls are handmade, frozen, and packaged in a 10,000sf plant in Fort Myers. They're deep fried at the ballpark and served with a citrus dipping sauce. **thanks to my Uncle Tommy for this news
